Title: A Time to Fight
Scripture: “a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace” – Ecclesiastes 3:8
A man may do many things in a time of crisis. Some cover up, some give up, others panic, still others deny they have a problem. If we are going to call ourselves Christian “soldiers”, then we must realize that a part of being a soldier is not just signing, clapping and putting on dress clothes on Sunday morning or turning the other cheek. We must fight.
There is no doubt about it, we are in a war and we’re losing the battle. It’s so easy to have false security, with all that we possess . Homosexuality is on our doorstep, pornography is our homes, our children are rebellious, immorality is considered is pat of our life . Being a Christian man means having Christian principles based on a solid knowledge of God’s Word and standing up for them . A wake up call is need from God by slowly stripping us of the things in which you trust: your health, your job, your money, your friends, your plans for the future, your career, your dreams, your children, your spouse, and in the end, even your reputation may lie in ruins. God does it, not to destroy us, but to take everything else away so that you have nowhere else to go but to the Lord. We must admit our helpless condition and Stop complaining and start fighting.
You will be attacked by the enemy and Satan never attacks face to face, but always tries to catch a person unaware. you cannot be trying to live a committed life for the Lord and not encounter conflict, your choice is fight or flight. Satan likes to create conflict , in chaos he prospers. Military strategists tell us that nothing is more important in battle than achieving the element of surprise. If your enemy doesn’t know you are coming, perhaps the shock of the first assault will win the day. If you can hit him when he doesn’t expect it, he will rock back on his heels and soon flee the field.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
What time is it?
- A Time to Pray: More than ever before we need to be on our needs to pray. Prayer is one of the most effective weapon of war that we possess that we must used frequently against the enemy.
- A time to Apply the Word of God: We need you to pick up your Sword – the Word of God – and start using it – learning it, speaking it, and applying it.
- A time to Worship: We must cultivate a life of worship, it leads to spiritual victory. We must learn to worship God before the crisis, worshiped during the crisis, worship after the crisis. Worship is not an event we attend; worship is a way of life for the people of God. Worship Releases God’s Power
- A time to apply our Faith: without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith is both an offensive and defensive weapon. It is pleases God when we are willing to go all out for Him, trusting that He will never leaves us nor forsake us.
it is time to fight. Our victory is assured In Jesus name
