Title:All challenges have an expiry date

“For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” – Psalms 30:5

Sometimes, I take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about my childhood. During my formative years, corporal punishment was still in style. Once, I did something I was not supposed to do. I knew what was coming. Sometimes the punishment is delay, which leaves me in state of constantly fretting, praying that the world would come to an end that moment. Looking back now I can laugh at those day, about the things I thought were challenges.

Life itself is a process of solving problems. We graduate from one class to the next. We look back and smile. Don’t let your current situation make you bitter. Bitterness corrupts and defiles the heart (Hebrews 12:15). The experiences we go through help to strengthen our faith, and also allow us to help others. A man would not be the best person to comfort a woman in labor pain because he has never been through it. Don’t give up regardless of how big your challenges may seem. Remember, every challenge has an expiration date.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. – 2 Corinthians 4:16-17

[pullquote] “In times of difficulty you may feel that your problems will go on and on, but they won’t. Every mountain has a top. Every problem has a life span. The question is, who is going to give in first; the frustration or you?” by Reverend Robert Schuller[/pullquote]All we are going through is temporary. Like our childhood memories, the current situation we find ourselves will soon be history. Our attitude in all situations we find ourselves is very important. It makes all the difference. Attitude goes a long way to show the quality of a person. A positive attitude can turn situations around for a person. A positive attitude towards life and towards whatsoever you are facing, will remove the dust from your mind and motivate you to accept the challenge ahead.

Focus on victory: remember challenges are food for champions

Courage can only be developed when we face challenges. Courage is the mental muscle that conquers fear. Like all muscles they become stronger with use. Courage can be developed, if we fail to develop courage, we remain confined in mental prisons of fear and doubt (Hebrews 11:6) lightweights

Walk through it. Work it out. You will overcome! Greater things are ahead of you.
You are blessed.
