Title: Carrier of His Presence

“But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” – Psalms 22:3

Three little fish had a big problem with a shark, who wants to eat them for dinner. The three fish had the privilege of meeting with the Lord. They narrated their ordeal in the hands of the shark and the lord asked them, what would you like me to do? Individually the little fish stated his request. The first fish said I want to be able to swim faster than the shark. The second fish said I want wings instead of fins; I want to be able to fly. The third fish said, Lord, I want you to go with me wherever I go. The Lord granted their request and the fishes departed.

The next day, the shark came again to eat them, he began chasing the first fish, and he swam faster than the shark, looking back and flapping his tongue at the shark. He ran into a school of other bigger fish which devoured him. The shark also chased the second fish, which had wings; the little fish flew out the water and landed on dry ground. He had forgot that fish don’t survive on dry ground, he lost his breathe and then passed away.

The shark began swimming in circles around the third fish but he could not come close to the third. The shark’s son asked, “Why can’t we eat that fish, we are so hungry?” The daddy shark replied, “as long as that man stays behind him we can’t go close”.

[pullquote] Moses replied, “If you aren’t going with us, please don’t make us leave this place…” Exodus 33:15 [/pullquote]Who accompanies you, determines what follows you. If God’s presence follows you it will keep the enemy away and attract the favour that you need. A key question is how do I get God’s presence in my life? The answer is praises, God dwell where His praise reigns. If you are constantly singing His praises, His presence will dwell with you. It is common to refer to challenges as mountain, look at what the scriptures say about mountain and the presence of God:

“Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back; the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs. Why was it, sea that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back? Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs? Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob…” Psalms 114:2 -7 NIV

When you are a carrier of God’s presence, whatever that cannot stop God, will not be able to stop you. Let your life be saturated with his praises. In your car, while you driving, in your kitchen while you are cooking, the more of His presence you absorb, the more of his glory envelope. His Glory is the antidote for every shame(See Psalms 34:1) Finally.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” – Isaiah 43:2

Sing His Praises today, don’t leave home without His presence.
