Title: Led by the Spirit

Scripture: For as many that are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God – Romans 8:14

Being led by the Spirit is very characteristic of the children of God. This is what differentiates us from others. It is a sign of maturity . People are often led by many things in life. They are led by their head, circumstances, opinions of others. Some are led by their negative confessions of their mouths, they say things about their lives that is contrary to what God says. The best way to walk in the Spirit is to be sure of God’s will for your life and the best way to know God’s will is to be grounded in His word.

Most Christians think that being led by the Spirit is a difficult thing. The struggle of the flesh and the Spirit is what causes the struggle within them. You can expect the Holy Spirit to lead you out of your comfort zone. Following Him is a step of faith and a walk of faith. I say it that way, because a walk begins with a step, the first step. It’s hardly ever comfortable at first. It may not be comfortable, but it is glorious. It brings joy, peace, and satisfaction into your life that most people will never know anything about.

• Read the Word and believe every word of it by faith.
• Pour godly things into your life.
• Listen for His voice.
• Be willing to do what He says

The end in view in the spiritual, leading of which Paul speaks is not to enable us to escape the difficulties, dangers, trials, or sufferings of this life, but specifically to enable us to conquer sin. It is by the presence of the Spirit within us alone that the bondage in which we are by nature held to sin is broken; that we are emancipated from sin and are no longer debtors to live according to the flesh.

Do you want to be Spirit led? Then you need to be Spirit fed.

• Right now the Spirit is leading someone to put aside the sinful man and come to God to be saved
• Right now the Spirit is leading one into a deeper relationship with Him one where you can simply trust every word the Spirit is saying to you today
• Right now some is making a decision that you will set aside what seems right in the natural and trust what God says about your life, your sickness, your situation
• Right now the Spirit is telling someone, “With God all things are possible…” and “all things are possible for him who believes…”
• Right now faith is rising up in someone to just believe the impossible and to receive a miracle from God…

We should be excited about what the Holy Spirit is doing through us in this physical world. It is time to be fully led by the Spirit God

Prayer Point

• Father, I surrender my will to the leading of your Holy Spirit
• Father, I release all my desire your will in Jesus name
• Holy Spirit, you are the Driver, I am the passenger. Please lead me in all that I do in Jesus name
