Title: His Wonderful Names – All Sufficient God

Scripture: “And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.” – Exodus 3:14

Whenever God wants to reveal an aspect of himself to man. He reveals it through His name. There is something in every Name of God which may breed faith in our souls. This morning we look briefly at the name of God we all familiar with which is “All sufficient God”. The name is EL Shaddai. EL means, “Mighty power, omnipotence, the strong one” and Shaddai means “all sufficient provider”

God shows His sufficiency at the tail end of human effort, because He doesn’t want to share His glory with any man or woman. When God was promising Abraham a son in his old Age. God was promising something virtually impossible. Medically speaking at that age Abraham and wife will not be able conceive a child . But God was simply teaching Abraham that in all circumstances He is the Almighty. The bible says in Jeremiah 32:29, “I am the God of all mankind, Is there anything too hard for me”. God’s future promise should make us joyous in the present.

God is sufficient In Troubled Times: When trouble strikes, God is sufficient to get you through. The fact that God is our refuge and strength does not mean that we are immune from troubles and problems. The abundant life is not a trouble‑free life. Jesus tell “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). But through it all God is sufficient for us. He can make a way where seems to be no way. Ask the children of Israel who stood at the bank of the red Sea while they were pursued by the army of Egypt.
God is Sufficient In Tribulation And Temptations : Count it all as joy when you fall into tribulation. We have an assurance from the scriptures When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. (Isaiah 43:2). Paul and Silas were locked up in prison, yet again the Lord proved His sufficiency. Hence I can assure that whatever you in right now, you will come out of it

Sufficient For Material Needs: He can make supply all our physical needs through his awesome power. The wedding in Cana (John 2) is prime example of this. Man had gotten to the tail end of his own supply and shame was on the horizon, then God showed up with His abundance. I believe this month you will not suffer lack or want in the name of Jesus

The bible tells us, that Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. If He has provided in the past then be rest assured that he can do it again. This month every lack and want shall be the thing of the past in your life in Jesus name.
