Title: In His Service

“…The worker deserves his wages…” – Luke 10:7

Thinking of future, many people seek employment with multinational companies that can provide them with a good financial security such as good salary, pension, health care benefits and so on. Have you considered what package the Lord offers for those that serve Him? Here is a List:

  • Wages – Mark 10:29-30, Job 36:11
  • Pension – Psalm 92:14, Isaiah 46:4
  • Health Insurance – Exodus 23:25
  • Vision Care – Deuteronomy 34:7
  • Family Package – Psalm 112:1-2

Note the scriptures specify wages. The key difference between a wages and a salary is that wages is paid on an hourly basis while salary is paid once a monthly. With God’s employment you control how much you earn and there are no restrictions on overtime. You can work as many hours as you want.
The Late man of God Kenneth Hagin shared a testimony, according to him as he walked into the church and he noticed a woman sweeping the floor of the church. The lord opened his spiritual eyes and he saw the woman wearing a crown on her head with stars on it, and he looked at his own crown and he had no stars on it. He asked the lord, why is this, I am the Pastor? The Lord replied “I pay people according to their labour”.
God is always looking for labourers, are you available? He said “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” – Ezekiel 22:30
In Job’s ordeal we have a scriptural example. He wept and lamented but he had no breakthrough until he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10). You might be one act of service away from your breakthrough. The key to greatness in God’s kingdom is service (Matthew 20:26).
