Title: Healing is the children’s bread
Scripture: He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” – Matthew 15:26
Healing is the children’s bread. If you’re a Christian, healing belongs to you. Many people wonder, If God still heals today. Maybe you have seen someone stand for healing and not get healed, or maybe you have stood for your own healing and did not see it manifest. Whichever it is, your faith questions if God’s healing power is in force. The scripture tells us Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

- “…healing every disease and sickness among the people” Mt. 4:23.
- “…healing every disease and sickness” Matt. 9:35.
- “He healed all who were sick” Matt. 12:15.
- “He…healed [all] their sick” Matt. 14:14
- “People brought all their sick to him…and all who touched it [cloak] were healed” Matt. 14:34-36.
- “…power was coming from Him and healing them all” Luke 6:17-19
You must believe that it is God’s will for us to be healed and stay healthy. Sickness doesn’t glorify God, it glorifies the devil and His glory He will not share with any man. God is by nature a healing God. Satan, on the other hand, has come to kill, steal, and destroy; but Jesus says, “I have come that you might have life, abundantly.” In Ex. 15:26, God says, “I am the Lord that heals you.”
Secondly, it was part of God’s Covenant with the people of Israel, that if they obeyed Him, He would take away sickness from them. “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you” Ex. 23:25
Thirdly, many of Gods laws were given as a means of promoting wholeness and health among his people, to keep them safe before they knew anything about germs, disease, and psychology. God had food laws which had stipulations on which kind of food they could eat and what they couldn’t eat. If people followed all of God’s commandments they would experience health and wholeness in mind, body, soul, and relationally with others
You might say God was the first to establish preventative measures for our health. Nowadays the healthcare industry has finally realized it is much cheaper to promote preventative measures such as eating a healthy diet of food low in cholesterol, salt, sugar (you know taste free diets), exercise, than it is to fix the problem after the fact.

Above, I live healthy daily by simply following his commandements. Do not allow fear to rob you of faith to be healed. Declare daily, Psalm 118:17: “I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord.”
